Demo source — adapt to your project. Foundry is not published as a package.

Usage

The strip sits above the heading in the DOM as well as on screen, so screen-reader users meet the announcement in the same order everyone else does.

  • Keep the strip to one line at desktop width.
  • Remove it when the news is stale — a permanent announcement is furniture.

Variants and states

Every entry below is a genuine difference in behaviour or layout, and every one of them is visible in the preview above.

  • Tinted strip
  • Compact hero
  • Dual action

Accessibility

Source order
The announcement precedes the h1 in the document, matching the visual order.
Real link
The strip is an anchor, not a decorated div.

Foundry implements published ARIA patterns and is tested against them. No WCAG certification is claimed — see the accessibility documentation for what is and is not covered.
